Quizzes shuffle their emoji options and have one correct answer. The closed card shows the question, correct answer, and winner highlights.

Up to five correct responders are named in the closed summary. These are winner highlights, not ranked places.

Additional correct responders are summarized without listing every name.

Channel Permissions & Fallbacks
Resilient delivery boundaries for reliable operation
CLNR checks required Discord channel permissions before posting. If no valid polls channel is available, CLNR can use the configured warning channel. Missing required permissions stop delivery.

Enabling Fun Polls and Quizzes automatically activates reaction-based activity tracking in CLNR.
- Casting a vote via emoji reaction registers as valid community participation.
- Records reaction participation as activity under the server’s configured tracking rules.
- Operates strictly without inspecting or reading text message contents.
Distinction from Community Check-Ins
Clear operational boundaries
Ordinary polls and quizzes use public emoji reactions. Recurring Community Check-Ins are a separate feature set.
- Check-Ins retain each current choice while open, then delete individual choices after posting aggregate results.
- Ordinary polls are not anonymous: reactions are public, and quizzes show correct responder names.
- When both are due on the same UTC day, Check-Ins take precedence without shifting regular poll cadence.
