Setup Wizard
- A simpler start: Redesigned onboarding explains how CLNR tracks inactivity without reading message content, how warnings and cleanup actions work, and which settings admins can control.
- Member coverage explained: Coverage shows how many server members CLNR currently tracks, not how many are active. Tracking can expand through member activity or Discord ID/CSV imports, but imports do not reconstruct past activity or inactivity.
- Faster Guided Setup: Related settings are reviewed together where possible, reducing unnecessary steps. Returning admins can update their configuration without automatically resetting existing Auto Kick approvals or safety pauses.
- Presets for first-time setup: Quick presets are now limited to initial setup. Returning admins can use Guided Setup or
/configto make changes without accidentally replacing their existing configuration. - More transparent mode changes: Switching between Standard and Ghost Mode is reviewed separately after setup changes are saved. Switching to Standard also lets admins decide whether existing members should be contacted.
- Clearer permissions and navigation: Improved permission checks account for inherited channel permissions. Role selection, inactivity-score settings, navigation, and recovery instructions are easier to understand.
- A more useful finish: Setup completion confirms what was saved and links directly to
/coverageand/config show. The private summary provides practical next steps instead of requesting a vote.
Notifications
- More predictable Ghost Mode notifications: Ghost Mode now suppresses server-triggered inactivity DMs, including pre-removal notices. Members who have opted into personal activity check-ins or monthly summaries can still receive those messages when server settings allow them.
Fixes
Setup Wizard
- Selections are preserved: Fixed roles, channels, and presets appearing incorrectly or being lost when navigating backward.
- Clearer forms and recovery: Corrected confusing numeric ranges, localization issues, misleading button instructions, and several navigation problems.
- Safer saved settings: A failed channel lookup can no longer accidentally clear the ignored-channel list.
Notifications
- Inactivity warning delivery: Warning summaries can now fall back to an available staff notification channel when the configured warning channel is unavailable.
- Personal reminder controls: Fixed Ghost Mode unintentionally disabling the server-wide personal reminder setting. Members can also access unsubscribe controls even when server-wide reminder delivery is disabled.
