Quiet Activity Nudges
Can provide an earlier private heads-up before the server’s first inactivity warning level. Helps active members catch unintentional quiet periods early without public mentions.

Strict Member Opt-In
Personal reminders are strictly opt-in per member. Server administrators can permit member enrollment, but admins can never force-subscribe server members.

Active Days, Streaks, and Lower-Is-Better Decay Scores
Monthly recaps summarize participation metrics clearly and transparently. Recaps count active days from configured activity signals separately from continuous streak tracking, giving members an accurate picture of their presence.
Active Days Counting
Total distinct calendar days in which configured activity signals were recorded.
Continuous Active Streaks
Shows the server’s tracked activity streak separately from the recap’s active-day count.
Lower-Is-Better Decay Score
Shows inactivity risk. Lower is better; this is separate from active-day counts and tracked streaks.
Status Inspection via /my_score
Quick personal access to scores and notification toggles
Members can run /my_score at any time to inspect their current standing, view Decay Score details, and quickly jump to personal reminder settings.
/my_score embed contains a direct button link to manage preferences in /notifications.
Score checks in server channels are visible only to the person using the command.
Recaps evaluate the same active signals configured by server admins without reading messages.
The server permission starts off in Ghost presets. Each member’s reminder preferences also start off.
Server Permissions & Clear System Separation
Understand how server-wide permissions govern member opt-ins and how personal reminders remain completely distinct from server threshold warnings.
Server-Wide Admin Permission
Admins inspect feature permission state using /config show. Turning off personal reminders server-wide immediately pauses all member nudges and recaps across the server.
Never Subscribes Everyone
Enabling server permission grants members the ability to opt in, but never auto-subscribes members. Every member must explicitly choose to enable reminders in /notifications.
Separate Threshold Warnings
Commands like /mute and /unmute manage admin-configured inactivity warning DMs. Unmuting warning DMs does not enroll a member in personal opt-in reminders.
Automatic Blocked-DM State Detection & Pausing
What Happens When Discord Blocks a DM?
If a personal nudge or monthly recap cannot be delivered due to member privacy settings or blocked direct messages, CLNR captures the failed delivery state cleanly.
- Shows a blocked-delivery explanation on the member's
/notificationscard. - Stops future personal reminder DMs until the member enables them again.
- Changing Discord privacy settings alone does not re-enable personal reminders.
How Members Restore Delivery
After allowing DMs, members can enable reminders again if the server-wide permission allows opt-ins.
- Enable Allow Direct Messages in Discord Server Privacy Settings.
- Run
/notificationsin the server to inspect delivery status. - Enable the reminders again through /notifications after allowing DMs.
